Webhooks API · subscriptions
The secret the calling app's deliveries are signed with in this organization
GET /signing-secret
The secret the calling app's deliveries are signed with in this organization: Manifold-Signature: t=<unix seconds>,v1=<hex HMAC-SHA256 of "<t>.<raw body>">.
Verify it over the raw body and refuse one more than five minutes old.
Access
Requires a signed-in session: an app token: subscriptions and their deliveries belong to the calling app alone, and each topic is held to its own grant
Send Authorization: Bearer $APP_TOKEN.
How scopes come from roles: Scopes and roles. Getting a token: Authentication and app tokens.
AI agent tool
No agent tool. An app's webhook plumbing — its subscriptions, delivery log and signing secret — answers that app's own token alone; an agent acts as a person and reads what happened through the journals' tools instead.
Connecting an agent: AI agents.
Example
curl -X GET 'https://webhooks.getmanifold.io/signing-secret' \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $APP_TOKEN"const response = await fetch("https://webhooks.getmanifold.io/signing-secret", {
method: "GET",
headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.APP_TOKEN}` },
});
if (!response.ok) throw new Error(`${response.status}: ${await response.text()}`);
const answer = await response.json();{
"secret": "5e0b8c4a2f7d19e63b1a0c9f8e7d6a5b4c3d2e1f0a9b8c7d6e5f4a3b2c1d0e9f"
}The panel writes this call in other languages. It does not send it: Manifold's APIs do not take calls from a web
page on another site, so run the call from your own code or terminal. The whole API as OpenAPI: webhooks.openapi.json. Base URL https://webhooks.getmanifold.io.
Errors
Every refusal is a status and a JSON body whose _tag names it. A refused call changes nothing.

TenantRequired userId | The token names no organization. | Choose the organization, then get a new token. |
ScopeRequired required | The token's roles do not grant the scope this call needs. | Ask an owner or admin for a role that grants it. |
