Agent skills
Hand your setup to an AI agent. These skills teach Claude, or any agent that reads skills, to take a business from no account to a working Manifold organization, whether it starts from a Shopify store, Cin7 Core or Omni, both, spreadsheets, or nothing at all, and to import any other spreadsheet: products, stock, prices, suppliers, customers and orders. The agent does the work; you approve each step and do the few things an agent must never do: paste a key, approve an app, pay, invite people and go live.

One skill per place a business starts from. Each says what to have ready, the steps in order, what only you decide (going live, billing, who joins your team), what done looks like and how to recover when something goes wrong.

What you need
- The Manifold connector in your agent (
https://mcp.getmanifold.io/mcp). See AI agents for connecting Claude, ChatGPT or another client. A brand-new business signs up at Manifold first, and the onboarding skill walks you through it. - Browser control (such as Claude in Chrome) is optional. With it, the agent clicks through Cin7 and Manifold for you; without it, the agent tells you each click.
Installing them

- Download a skill's zip, then add it under Settings › Capabilities › Skills. Add each one.

- Unzip each into
~/.claude/skills/, or into a project's.claude/skills/. - Any MCP client
- Nothing to install: once the Manifold connector is connected, each skill is a prompt of the same name
and a resource at
manifold://skills/<name>.
Then ask
- "Set my business up in Manifold."
- "We sell on Shopify. Move our stock and orders into Manifold."
- "We have nothing yet. Help me set up our first range in Manifold from this list."
- "Our stock is in spreadsheets exported from our old system. Bring it into Manifold."
- "We're on Cin7 Core. Move us over to Manifold."
- "Bring our products, stock and suppliers across from Cin7 Omni, but leave the open sales orders."
- "Here's our supplier price list as a spreadsheet. Import it as purchase orders."
What the agent will not do
- See your keys or passwords. It creates the Cin7 API application for you, then stops looking while you copy its two values into Manifold yourself.
- Change Cin7. The one change it makes in Cin7 is that API application, and only after you agree. On Cin7 Omni it limits the application to reading. Manifold only ever reads from Cin7.
- Apply without asking. It shows you the migration's preview, or the staged rows of an import, and explains every warning before anything is written.
- Pay, approve an app, invite people or go live. Those stay in your hands, in the admin. It tells you which screen, and what each one does.
