Purchasing Manager API · pos

Close a purchase order: done, read only from here

POST /pos/{poId}/close

From received or invoiced it simply ends the order. From authorised or partially-received it is a short-close, and remainder says what becomes of undelivered quantity: cancel withdraws it from inventory (inventory.incoming-cancelled per outstanding line, keyed <poId>:<sku>:close; 502 InventoryUnavailable while it is away, the close finishing later) and marks it cancelled on the line; keep leaves the shortfall on the lines for supplier follow-up; omitted, the organization's shortClose setting decides. 409 PoNotClosable on a draft or a cancelled order. Appends purchasing.po-closed. Idempotent by state: an order closes once, so a retry on a closed order is acknowledged and appends nothing.

Access

Requires purchasing:write.

How scopes come from roles: Scopes and roles. Getting a token: Authentication and app tokens.

Retries

Idempotent by state: an order closes once, so a retry on a closed order is acknowledged and appends nothing.

Why every write carries a key: Idempotency and retries.

Facts appended

  • purchasing.po-closed

What a fact is: Facts and the journal.
