Set the organization's brand

PUT /settings/brand

Set the organization's brand, whole: businessName, brandColour (the header band and buttons — its text colour is chosen to read at 4.5:1 or better), accentColour (links and figures on the white page), contact, footer and terms.

The logo is its own upload and stays. 422 BrandColourContrast when the accent reads below 4.5:1 on white. Appends notifications.brand-saved. Idempotent by content: saving the brand as it stands appends nothing.

Access

Requires settings:write.

How scopes come from roles: Scopes and roles. Getting a token: Authentication and app tokens.

Retries

Idempotent by content: saving the brand as it stands appends nothing.

Why every write carries a key: Idempotency and retries.

Facts appended

  • notifications.brand-saved

What a fact is: Facts and the journal.

AI agent tool

No agent tool. The name, colours, footer and terms every customer's emails and pages wear are the owner's call in Settings › Brand, where they are previewed; an agent reads them with notifications_get_brand.

Connecting an agent: AI agents.

The panel writes this call in other languages. It does not send it: Manifold's APIs do not take calls from a web page on another site, so run the call from your own code or terminal. The whole API as OpenAPI: notifications-manager.openapi.json. Base URL https://notifications.getmanifold.io.
