Notifications API · settings

Ask the edge where the pages host stands now, and the records it still needs

POST /settings/pages-domain/check

Appends notifications.pages-domain-verified when the edge has found the name routed to it, notifications.pages-domain-live when its certificate is issued (or a lapsed host is restored), and notifications.pages-domain-lapsed when a live host no longer reaches Manifold — links then name Manifold's pages host and the owners and admins are told. Idempotent by state: a check that finds the host where it already stands appends nothing. 404 PagesDomainNotFound when there is no host.

Access

Requires settings:write.

How scopes come from roles: Scopes and roles. Getting a token: Authentication and app tokens.

Retries

Idempotent by state: a check that finds the host where it already stands appends nothing.

Why every write carries a key: Idempotency and retries.

Facts appended

  • notifications.pages-domain-verified
  • notifications.pages-domain-live
  • notifications.pages-domain-lapsed

What a fact is: Facts and the journal.

AI agent tool

No agent tool. The pages host is checked on an interval and from Settings › Branding; nothing an agent does waits on it, since links name whichever host is live.

Connecting an agent: AI agents.

The panel writes this call in other languages. It does not send it: Manifold's APIs do not take calls from a web page on another site, so run the call from your own code or terminal. The whole API as OpenAPI: notifications-manager.openapi.json. Base URL https://notifications.getmanifold.io.
