Inventory Manager API · catalogs
Choose how this catalog is priced
PUT /catalogs/{catalogId}/pricing
manual (the default): every price is a fact a person set. auto: derive a price for every SKU its base prices — { _tag: catalog, catalogId }, another catalog's stored rows (every SKU that catalog prices), or { _tag: cost }, the SKU's cost basis in the home currency (GET /items/:sku/cost; every SKU this catalog lists that has one) — converted at the recorded forex rate for the current hour when the currencies differ (PUT /fx/rates), stepped by the optional adjustment (markup, margin or discount, in basis points: cost + 40 % is markup 4000, a 40 % margin is margin 4000, less 10 % is discount 1000) and rounded up by the optional rounding table (bands by fromCents, each to the next figure ending in endingCents modulo stepCents). A base row's quantity breaks are derived the same way. Derived prices are served marked auto on every read and never stored; a price set by hand stands as an override until removed; with no rate for the pair only the manual rows are served. channel: the channel publishing this catalog prices it itself — manifold derives nothing, and hand-set rows are the fixed-price overrides a sync lays over its prices. 409 CatalogPricingInvalid for a base that is this catalog, missing, archived, or itself auto (derivation is one hop). Appends inventory.catalog-pricing-configured. Idempotent by content: a retry that changes nothing is acknowledged and appends nothing.
