POST /orders/{orderId}/channel-placement

Place a channel's quote as the order the channel made of it — a draft the channel holds (a store's draft order) that it has completed into an order of its own.

Like POST /orders/:orderId/place it appends fulfillment.order-created carrying the quote as it stands, under the same id, number and lines, then the allocation, in one transaction; the order it makes names the channel's order instead of the draft: its source.externalId (and name) and each listed line's externalId, so the channel's later edits, payments, refunds and fulfilments find the lines they name; paymentTerms, when given, are the placed order's from the first moment — decided before the allocation and any automatic shipping behind it. Only the app that provides the quote's channel may call it (403 ChannelSourceForbidden, also for a quote that came from no channel); 409 NotAQuote for a cancelled one, and the same refusals as placing otherwise. Idempotent by state: a quote becomes an order once, so a retried placement answers the order as it stands and appends nothing.

Errors

Every refusal is a status and a JSON body whose _tag names it. A refused call changes nothing.

`400`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`LineAttributeInvalid` sku, name, reason	The request was refused. `reason` says why.	Fix the request. Sending it again unchanged gets the same answer.

`401`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`Unauthorized` reason	The token is missing, expired or not one Manifold issued.	Get a fresh token and send the call again.
`TokenAlreadyUsed` tokenId	A single-use app token was already spent.	Mint a new token for this call.

`402`

`SubscriptionRequired` status	The organization's subscription has lapsed, so writes are refused.	An owner settles billing. Reads still work meanwhile.

`TenantRequired` userId	The token names no organization.	Choose the organization, then get a new token.
`ScopeRequired` required	The token's roles do not grant the scope this call needs.	Ask an owner or admin for a role that grants it.

`QuoteEmpty` orderId	The request was refused, and nothing changed.	Nothing changed. Read the record, then decide.
`TaxRateMissing` class, at	The organization charges tax on this class but has no rate for it on that day.	An owner adds a rate for the class in Settings › Tax.
`LineAttributeRequired` sku, name	The request was refused, and nothing changed.	Nothing changed. Read the record, then decide.
`BelowMinimumMargin` orderId, lines, approval, message	The request was refused, and nothing changed.	Nothing changed. Read the record, then decide.
`CustomerRequired` orderId, message	The request was refused, and nothing changed.	Nothing changed. Read the record, then decide.
