POST /orders/{orderId}/shipments/{shipmentId}/pick

Record what the operator physically took for this parcel, per parcel line (lineId; 409 UnknownOrderLine for a line not on the parcel).

A kit line is picked by parts — identity per component, each kits × per units; untracked parts may be left out, a tracked part left out is 409 PickTrackingMismatch. Tracked SKUs must name it: picked serials (409 UnitsNotOnShelf if any is not free on the shelf per the registry) or a batch with sufficient remaining stock; identity that does not match the SKU's tracking mode is 409 PickTrackingMismatch, and nothing is appended when a pick is refused. Appends fulfillment.shipment-picked — which takes the named units off the free shelf immediately, so a second parcel cannot claim them — followed by fulfillment.shipment-packed (and ship/invoice) when those steps are automatic. 409 ShipmentNotInState if the parcel is not pending. Idempotent by state: a parcel is picked once, so a retried pick meets 409 ShipmentNotInState, never a second pick.

Errors

Every refusal is a status and a JSON body whose _tag names it. A refused call changes nothing. Some can answer a retry of a call that already worked: they are marked.

`401`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`Unauthorized` reason	The token is missing, expired or not one Manifold issued.	Get a fresh token and send the call again.
`TokenAlreadyUsed` tokenId	A single-use app token was already spent.	Mint a new token for this call.

`402`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`SubscriptionRequired` status	The organization's subscription has lapsed, so writes are refused.	An owner settles billing. Reads still work meanwhile.

`TenantRequired` userId	The token names no organization.	Choose the organization, then get a new token.
`ScopeRequired` required	The token's roles do not grant the scope this call needs.	Ask an owner or admin for a role that grants it.

`FulfillmentOrderNotFound` orderId	No such record in this organization.	Check the id in the path or the body.
`ShipmentNotFound` orderId, shipmentId	No such record in this organization.	Check the id in the path or the body.

`409`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`ShipmentNotInState` orderId, shipmentId, status, expected Can answer a retry	The parcel is not in a state this call accepts.	If this answers a retry, your first call probably landed. Read the record: its `status` says where it stands, and `expected` the states this call accepts.
`UnknownOrderLine` orderId, lineId	A line named is not on the order or the parcel.	Use the `lin_` ids from the order.
`PickTrackingMismatch` sku, tracking, reason	The units picked are not named the way the SKU is tracked.	Name serials or a batch for a tracked SKU, nothing for an untracked one.
`UnitsNotOnShelf` sku, reason, serials	The serials or batch named are not free on the shelf. `serials` lists them.	Name units that are on the shelf and not held by another parcel.
`MirroredFromSource` source	This area is fed by your source system until the organization goes live.	Make the change in the source system, or go live first.

`502`
