Raise a sales invoice

POST /orders/{orderId}/invoices

Raise a sales invoice — for one shipment when shipmentId is given, otherwise for everything shipped and not yet invoiced.

Appends fulfillment.invoice-issued. The invoice is a document, not a ledger posting: payments and AR ageing live outside this service. Lines bill their units' tax at the invoice date's rates (rateMoved when it differs from the order's); a line's last invoice takes the remainder; shipping rides on the first. A header gives the title and tax particulars. 422 MissingUnitPrice if a line has no sales price (typical of orders created before prices were captured), 409 NothingToInvoice if there is nothing left to bill. Idempotent by state: a shipment is invoiced once, so a retry naming the same shipmentId is acknowledged with the document already raised and appends nothing; a retry without one meets 409 NothingToInvoice.

Errors

Every refusal is a status and a JSON body whose _tag names it. A refused call changes nothing. Some can answer a retry of a call that already worked: they are marked.

`401`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`Unauthorized` reason	The token is missing, expired or not one Manifold issued.	Get a fresh token and send the call again.
`TokenAlreadyUsed` tokenId	A single-use app token was already spent.	Mint a new token for this call.

`402`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`SubscriptionRequired` status	The organization's subscription has lapsed, so writes are refused.	An owner settles billing. Reads still work meanwhile.

`403`

`TenantRequired` userId	The token names no organization.	Choose the organization, then get a new token.
`ScopeRequired` required	The token's roles do not grant the scope this call needs.	Ask an owner or admin for a role that grants it.

`FulfillmentOrderNotFound` orderId	No such record in this organization.	Check the id in the path or the body.
`ShipmentNotFound` orderId, shipmentId	No such record in this organization.	Check the id in the path or the body.

`409`

`NothingToInvoice` orderId Can answer a retry	Everything shipped on the order is already invoiced.	If this answers a retry, your first call probably landed. Read the order's invoices: the one you want is already raised.
`MirroredFromSource` source	This area is fed by your source system until the organization goes live.	Make the change in the source system, or go live first.

`422`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`MissingUnitPrice` orderId, lineId, sku	A line on the order has no sales price. `lineId` names it. Orders made today always carry one.	Nothing in this request can fix it: contact Manifold support about the order.

`502`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`InventoryUnavailable` reason	The inventory service did not answer, so nothing changed.	Send the same request again shortly.

`503`

Refusal	What it means	What to do
`RequestLogUnavailable` tokenId, reason	The service could not record the request, so it did nothing.	Send the same request again shortly.
