Auth API · team
How many people belong to the organization
GET /api/auth/organizations/{organizationId}/member-count
How many people belong to the organization: its active members, the owner included and the deactivated aside — a count, never who they are.
What the setup walk's team step asks to see whether anyone has joined. Read with a organization JWT for that organization (a person's, a service's or an app's), checked by the route: 403 NotAMember for a token minted for another organization, 403 ScopeRequired without setup:read. Read-only: no fact, no request row.
Access
Requires setup:read.
How scopes come from roles: Scopes and roles. Getting a token: Authentication and app tokens.
AI agent tool
No agent tool. The setup walk's own evidence for its team step, read by onboarding-manager with the caller's token; an agent reads the walk itself (onboarding_get_status) and invites people in Settings › Users.
Connecting an agent: AI agents.
Example
curl -X GET 'https://auth.getmanifold.io/api/auth/organizations/org_01a156d2-8680-7738-ab2e-ff985e454887/member-count' \

method: "GET",
headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.MANIFOLD_TOKEN}` },
});
if (!response.ok) throw new Error(`${response.status}: ${await response.text()}`);
const answer = await response.json();{

"members": 3
}The panel writes this call in other languages. It does not send it: Manifold's APIs do not take calls from a web
page on another site, so run the call from your own code or terminal. The whole API as OpenAPI: auth-service.openapi.json. Base URL https://auth.getmanifold.io.
Errors
Every refusal is a status and a JSON body whose _tag names it. A refused call changes nothing.
