Auth API · gridLayouts
Replace how the signed-in person arranged one grid with order and hidden
PUT /api/auth/me/grid-layouts/{grid}
Replace how the signed-in person arranged one grid with order and hidden — the whole layout, not a change to it; both empty restores the grid's own.
400 InvalidGridLayout for a malformed column key, one named twice, or more than 64 in either list. An impersonating platform admin's arrangement is answered and not stored. Appends auth.grid-layout-set. Idempotent by content: the layout the grid already has (hidden in any order) is acknowledged and appends nothing.
Access
Requires a signed-in session: The signed-in person's own layouts, read from their BetterAuth session; no path names anyone else
How scopes come from roles: Scopes and roles. Getting a token: Authentication and app tokens.
Retries
Idempotent by content: the layout the grid already has (hidden in any order) is acknowledged and appends nothing.
Why every write carries a key: Idempotency and retries.
Facts appended
auth.grid-layout-set
What a fact is: Facts and the journal.
AI agent tool
No agent tool. A person arranges their own grids by dragging columns in the admin; an agent has no grid to arrange and the MCP server does not reach the auth service.
Connecting an agent: AI agents.

}The panel writes this call in other languages. It does not send it: Manifold's APIs do not take calls from a web
page on another site, so run the call from your own code or terminal. The whole API as OpenAPI: auth-service.openapi.json. Base URL https://auth.getmanifold.io.
Errors
Every refusal is a status and a JSON body whose _tag names it. A refused call changes nothing.
