Auth API · agents

Withdraw an agent's grant

DELETE /api/auth/agents/{organizationId}/{clientId}/{userId}

Withdraw an agent's grant — or a delegation to a connected surface, whose next exchange is then refused: the caller's own, or any in the organization for an owner or admin.

Every access and refresh token the client holds for the person is deleted with it, so the agent's next call is refused; revoked says whether there was a grant to withdraw. 403 AdminRequired for another person's grant without being an owner or admin. Appends auth.agent-revoked. Idempotent by state: revoking a grant already withdrawn is acknowledged, answers revoked: false and appends nothing.

Access

Requires a signed-in session: The person whose grant it is, or an owner or admin of the organization for anyone's, checked against its membership by the route

How scopes come from roles: Scopes and roles. Getting a token: Authentication and app tokens.

Retries

Idempotent by state: revoking a grant already withdrawn is acknowledged, answers revoked: false and appends nothing.

Why every write carries a key: Idempotency and retries.

Facts appended

  • auth.agent-revoked

What a fact is: Facts and the journal.

AI agent tool

No agent tool. Withdrawing an agent's access (or a connected surface's) is the person's or an admin's in Agents or Settings › Apps › Slack in the admin; an agent that wants to stop simply stops calling.

Connecting an agent: AI agents.

The panel writes this call in other languages. It does not send it: Manifold's APIs do not take calls from a web page on another site, so run the call from your own code or terminal. The whole API as OpenAPI: auth-service.openapi.json. Base URL https://auth.getmanifold.io.
