Accounting Ledger API · ledger
What the stock sold in a period cost
GET /ledger/cogs
What the stock sold in a period cost: total cost of sales (entries plus corrections) with effective dates in [from, to).
A sale without an authorised dispatch contributes nothing — if the period looks low, look for unauthorised dispatches or unauthorised supplier invoices first. This is the cost ledger, dated when the cost was incurred; on the cash basis the general ledger recognises a supplier invoice's correction and a landed cost's share when the bill is paid, so its cost of sales can differ by those.
